Trinity Health Of New England names Schneider regional CFO
Jennifer Schneider, CPA, was named regional CFO at Trinity Health Of New England in Hartford, Connecticut. She is a board member of the HFMA Connecticut Chapter.
Claro Healthcare promotes Dasko and Richardson to managing directors
Kathy Dasko, of the First Illinois Chapter, pictured on top, and Linda Richardson, RN, MSN, ANP, of the Florida Chapter, were both promoted to managing directors of Claro Healthcare, LLC in Chicago. They were both previously directors at Claro Healthcare.
Chavis receives promotion at Bon Secours Mercy
Karen Chavis, MBA, FHFMA, was promoted to director of revenue management at Bon Secours Mercy Health System in Cincinnati. Her previous title was revenue manager at Bon Secours Health System. The health system merged with Mercy Health in September 2018. Chavis has been a volunteer with HFMA since 2015, serving on the membership committee and more recently as program education chair for the Virginia-Washington D.C. Chapter.
Shaw Noel accepts new role at Praxis Healthcare Solutions
Julie Shaw Noel was hired as vice president of client development at Praxis Healthcare Solutions in Plano, Texas. Her previous role was president and CEO of ParrishShaw in Houston. She belongs to the Texas Gulf Coast Chapter.
Mincher is now VP at Texas Health Resources
Jeff Mincher, FHFMA, has accepted the role of vice president of revenue cycle operations for Texas Health Resources in Arlington, Texas. Previously, he served as director of revenue cycle operations at Norman Regional Health System in Norman, Oklahoma. Mincher was a member of the Oklahoma Chapter, but has been a Lone Star Chapter member since 2019.
Sudberry Smith earns master’s in legal studies and accepts new position
Staci Sudberry Smith, MLS, RHIA, FHFMA, completed her master’s in legal studies in healthcare law from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in December 2019. Sudberry Smith also accepted a new position as the director of revenue cycle operations for Arbuckle Memorial Hospital in Sulphur, Oklahoma. She belongs to the Oklahoma Chapter and in the past has served as a presenter, a member of various committees and a director.
