Honor Roll: HFMA recognizes members who earned certifications in Q2 2024
HFMA now offers 10 certifications for members to validate their expertise and demonstrate their commitment to the profession, with the recent launch of the Certified Hospital Cost Report Specialist (CHCRS) certification. The HFMA certifications are as follows: Certified Healthcare Financial Professional (CHFP), Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR), Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) – GCC, Certified Hospital Cost Report Specialist (CHCRS), Certified Specialist Accounting and Finance (CSAF), Certified Specialist Business Intelligence (CSBI), Certified Specialist Physician Practice Management (CSPPM), Certified Specialist Payment and Reimbursement (CSPR), the newest certification: Executive of Healthcare Revenue Cycle (EHRC) and Fellow of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (FHFMA), which supersedes CHFP.

We see hundreds of members earn certifications each month, and we are sharing HFMA’s Honor Roll of all individuals who have been certified April 1, 2024, through June 30, 2024.
This list of HFMA certifications is accurate as of Aug. 12, 2024, for individual members in good standing who earned a certification in Q2. If you were recently certified, but do not see your name on this list, your membership has lapsed. Renew your membership today.
Of the 2,115 people earning certifications in Q2, 101 attained more than one HFMA certification. (See the sidebar on page 3 of the pdf below to view a list of those who earned more than one certification).
HFMA Digital Credentials: Those members completing an HFMA certification program will earn a digital badge from HFMA (badges are managed by Credly, HFMA’s badging vendor). The badge contains metadata describing the qualifications completed to earn the achievement. Validate HFMA certification credentials here.
