HFMA’s Response to CMS’s RFI on Hospital Chargemaster

HFMA submitted a response to CMS’s Request for information (RFI), contained in the CY 2020 OPPS/ASC proposed rule, on the continued value of the chargemaster charges in setting hospital payment and to other stakeholders, as well as the costs associated with maintaining the chargemaster for purposes of Medicare cost reporting and payment.
