President’s Welcome

Hello everyone!

Today marks my first official communication to you, our members for the 2024-2025 chapter year. I would first like to thank Chase for all of his hard work and dedication to the chapter over the last year. As a leader he has set me up for success!

Just to introduce myself, I work at Erlanger Health in Chattanooga as the VP of Rev Cycle. I have two grown children and one grandbaby that hangs the moon. I have been in Revenue Cycle for 20 years, and for those years I heavily depended on HFMA and its guidance and support. The organization has been invaluable and I have made lifelong friends with the people I have met over the years as part of TNHFMA.

As my year starts, we have several initiatives that we will be kicking off or tweaking from previous years. Our Rising Star program will allow us to offer membership scholarships to front line staff and more student scholarships. The goal of these programs is to identify healthcare professionals who may not have the ability to join HFMA and offer the opportunity to interact with Board Members, complete certifications and utilize all HFMA has to offer. We have several events in the planning stages, if you have any ideas of what content you would like to see please reach out to me or any of our board members. We want to ensure we are bringing the most up to date material to you! My goal for this year is to allow us to all Shine Brighter Together!
