President’s Welcome
Greetings from your Montana Chapter of HFMA 2024-2025 President, Trish Wagner. I am excited to serve the chapter for the upcoming year and look forward to seeing what the next 12 months bring to our amazing chapter.
A special thank you to Shawna Talles for leading our chapter last year. We are lucky in Montana to have such a strong group of hands-on board members and officers! I love being a part of this group and I encourage you to engage in leadership. I have met some of the most amazing people through HFMA that I am honored to call friends. If you are looking to branch out and meet new people, volunteer on one of our many committees! Please approach me or any of the board members to explore opportunities to get involved. Our chapter will focus on value this year, both for our providers and business partners. We will continue to bring high quality Lunch and Learns to our members through our collaboration with other Region 10 chapters. Our efforts will include providing education that is worthwhile to the entire Revenue Cycle to engage our Enterprise members. We continue to look for innovative ways to add value for our business partners. This year we will collaborate with various groups at our fall and spring conferences to increase provider exposure to our business partners.
Mark your calendars for our conference: Fall (October 23-25, 2024 in Billings) and Spring (May 6-8, 2025 in Missoula) – exciting keynote speakers, relevant and up-to-date education, our remarkable Business Partners, and amazing networking events. Also, be on the lookout for Lunch and Learn registration information.
