Ronald Kintz retires, takes role teaching at University of Miami
Ronald J. Kintz, FHFMA, retired in 2020 after 33 years at Arnot Health, Elmira, New York. He had served as senior vice president and was CFO at the time of his retirement. He is now teaching in the graduate program at the University of Miami. A member of HFMA’s Rochester Regional Chapter since the late 1970s, Kintz has served as the head of the Board of Examiners committee and has received the Follmer, Reeves and Muncie awards from HFMA.
Bogacz founds Mallory Square Capital
Pierre Bogacz founded Mallory Square Capital, St Petersburg, Florida, in January 2021. Mallory Square Capital advises companies on capital formation, debt management, strategic planning and mergers and acquisitions. A member of HFMA’s Florida Chapter, Bogacz was previously a director in the healthcare group at Public Financial Management.
Kemberton names Kleckner as chief customer officer
Kemberton, a leading provider of technology-enabled revenue cycle management services to hospitals for complex claims, has named Rainie Kleckner as chief customer officer. Kleckner has spent the past 30 years specializing in healthcare RCM and operational excellence for physician groups, specialty services and a diverse platform of hospitals and health systems across the nation. Kleckner was most recently vice president of sales with GeBBS Healthcare Solutions.
Wolfe Pincavage appoints Greenfield as equity partner
In its first partnership appointment since its founding, boutique law firm Wolfe Pincavage has named healthcare attorney Becky Greenfield as its newest equity partner. Greenfield, a longtime member of HFMA’s Florida Chapter, has advised health systems on best practices for compliance regarding price transparency, earning accolades by Super Lawyers and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Greenfield holds a juris doctorate from the University of Miami and a master’s degree in public health from the University of Miami School of Medicine.
Perez expands role at Omnicell
Ken Perez, a member of HFMA’s Northern California Chapter, has been named as Omnicell’s vice president of healthcare policy and government affairs. Previously he was vice president of healthcare policy at Omnicell.
Remembering Enrique Baquero-Navarro
Enrique Baquero-Navarro, FACHE, vice president of development and education at the Puerto Rico Hospital Association, died Dec. 30, 2020. Remembered by his colleagues as enthusiastic, generous and helpful, Baquero-Navarro was a founder of HFMA’s Puerto Rico Chapter in 1974.
Remembering Jim Miller
James “Jim” Miller died Aug. 10, 2020. A consultant with the Indiana Rural Health Association, he was a longtime member of HFMA’s Indiana Pressler Chapter.
