Hannah is entering her second year in the Master of Health Administration (MHA) program at the Ohio State University. Hannah also obtained her undergraduate degree in Health & Rehabilitation Sciences from OSU, making her a proud double Buckeye. During her undergraduate career, she majored in Health Information Management & Systems, which sparked her interest in healthcare delivery and provided her with valuable insights and exposure to the healthcare industry. During the school year, Hannah works as an intern in the Data Resource Center at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, which has fostered her love for numbers and data analysis, as well as a manager for on-campus dining. Following graduation in May 2023, she went on to earn certification as a Registered Health Information Administrator. This summer (2024), she is working as the Administrative Resident for Ohio Gastroenterology Group, Inc. where she is working within business operations. Hannah has been a part of the COHFMA Student Leadership Committee for the past 3 years, both as a member and as the Student Programming Chair (2023 – 2024). In her free time, she loves to read, try new restaurants around Columbus, and spending time with family.
As the Executive Chair of the COHFMA SLC, Hannah is excited to work alongside industry professionals and leaders to encourage greater student presence in the chapter by ensuring HFMA is a collaborative and educational space for students and professionals alike. She is so lucky to work alongside such an incredible group of people in this year’s SLC and can’t wait to see all they accomplish this year!
Jordan Johnsamson

Jordan is embarking on the second year of her Master’s in Health Administration program at The Ohio State University. She obtained her undergraduate degree from The University of Texas at Austin with a bachelor’s in Biology and a minor in Business. During her time at UT Austin, she gained various experiences within the clinical side of healthcare, from volunteering at various hospitals and nursing homes to working in research labs. After graduating from UT Austin, she earned her certification in Health Informatics and Health Information Technology and Certified Associate in Project Management. She then worked as a healthcare analyst at a major healthcare IT consulting firm prior to attending OSU, where she honed her analytical and problem-solving skills. Her journey culminated in her passion for pursuing a career in healthcare consulting to make a broader impact on the industry. HFMA has further encouraged her to grow professionally and academically through the vast resources and networking opportunities. Beyond career pursuits, Jordan has a passion for traveling, having explored 13 countries and counting. Her love for experiencing diverse cultures and learning about history fuels and enriches her curiosity and knowledge.
As Programming Chair of the COHFMA SLC, Jordan is looking forward to facilitating connections between members and industry professionals that will develop and prepare young careerists as they navigate their journey into the healthcare field.
Stephanie Wilkins

Stephanie is entering her second year of the MHA program at The Ohio State University College of Public Health. She completed her bachelor’s degree in public health at the University of Washington (UW). During her time at UW, she gained valuable experiences in the healthcare field. She worked as a Research Intern at Mayo Clinic and Seattle Children’s Hospital, co-authoring three research articles published in peer-reviewed medical journals. After graduating from UW, Stephanie moved to Bozeman, MT, and worked in healthcare administration at an ENT clinic. These experiences motivated her to pursue her MHA degree at Ohio State. During the school year, she works as a Graduate Associate in Ambulatory Services at the OSU Wexner Medical Center. HFMA allows her to continue to grow professionally and connect with the Ohio healthcare community. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and exploring the great outdoors.
As Membership Chair of the COHFMA SLC, Stephanie is eager to strengthen HFMA’s connection to the student community in Central Ohio. She intends to leverage her previous experiences and recruitment skills to increase student participation within the chapter.
Dean Tilger

Dean Tilger is pursuing his Master of Health Administration (MHA) at The Ohio State University College of Public Health. Prior to moving to Columbus, Dean earned his B.S. in Neuroscience with a minor in Business from Trinity University in San Antonio, TX. Dean has maintained a long-standing interest in healthcare that has been further fostered by his time spent in different healthcare settings over the last several years. He gained valuable experience while working as a Medical Scribe in the Emergency Department at Children’s Medical Center – Dallas and through volunteer positions with the American Red Cross and Scottish Rite for Children Orthopedic Hospital. After completing his summer internship at Heart of Ohio Family Health, Dean will serve as a Graduate Teaching Associate at The Ohio State University College of Public Health where he will help MHA students navigate Healthcare Finance courses. In addition to his role as Networking Chair of the COHFMA SLC, Dean is an active student member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and the Association for Future Healthcare Executives.
As Networking Chair of the COHFMA SLC, Dean is excited to provide valuable development opportunities and connect students with a diverse group of professionals from across the healthcare industry. He is looking forward to working alongside a great group of SLC Chairs and taking advantage of the many benefits of COHFMA membership.
Kanna Miskin

Kanna Miskin is pursuing her Master of Health Administration (MHA) degree from The Ohio State University. Kanna currently works as the administrative resident for OSU Physician’s, the medical group managing the faculty practices for The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. Before coming to OSU, Kanna received her B.S. in Health Administration from Utah Valley University with a minor in Business Management. While studying at UVU, Kanna worked as a CNA in a long-term care facility and then as a research manager for KLAS Research. Her work experiences solidified her respect for clinical care providers and ignited a passion for people management, operational improvement, and innovation in the healthcare delivery space.
As the Communications Chair of the COHFMA SLC, Kanna is excited to design communications to inspire greater student engagement and participation in chapter events.
Emma Klemanski

Emma Klemanski is pursuing her Master of Health Administration (MHA) at The Ohio State University in the College of Public Health. Before coming to OSU, Emma received her B.S. in Health Sciences and B.A. in Business Administration from Mount Vernon Nazarene University. During her time at MVNU, Emma assisted Knox Community Hospital with service line improvement, as well as conducted various health assessments in partnership with the Knox County Public Health Department. Both of these experiences cultivated a passion within her for population health and serving underserved communities within central Ohio. This passion has been further developed through Emma’s summer administrative residency at OhioHealth’s Doctor’s Hospital. Joining HFMA this year has deepened her desire to grow professionally within the Ohio healthcare community. Outside of academics, Emma enjoys reading, hiking, trying new restaurants, and walks with her black lab Bailey.
As the Gives Back Chair, Emma is looking forward to continuing to foster a culture of service within COHFMA. She is excited to plan volunteer events that not only serve the local community, but that also bring chapter members together to make intentional impacts. She is looking forward to working alongside such an amazing team this year!
