President’s Welcome
Dear Texas Gulf Coast Members,
I am honored and grateful to serve as the chapter’s president for the 2024-2025 term. As we embark on this new year, I’m excited about the opportunities that lie ahead. In an industry often challenged by disparate processes, evolving payment models, and the constant quest for better outcomes for our consumers, I am confident in our team’s ability to make a significant impact.
First and foremost, I want to extend my deepest appreciation to Chris Spilker for his outstanding leadership during the 2023-2024 year. His dedication and vision set a high standard, and I aspire to continue building on the foundation he has established.
This year, we have an array of educational events planned to foster learning, networking, and professional growth. Our Summer event at the San Luis Resort in Galveston promises to be a highlight, providing a perfect blend of education and relaxation. In November, we will host our Women’s Dinner, a special occasion to celebrate and support the incredible women in our industry. Additionally, our numerous Lunch & Learns, generously hosted by Houston Methodist, will offer ongoing opportunities for our members to connect and share knowledge.
Our theme for the year is “One Team, One Goal, Always Forward.” This mantra encapsulates our commitment to unity, shared objectives, and continuous progress. Together, we will strive to overcome challenges, innovate, and achieve excellence in all that we do.
